This video was produced to showcase the “My Favorite Teacher” finalists voted by students in the Experimental High School Att. BNU. It was played back during the award ceremony on September 10th, 2008.

This video was originally made as a publicity film to bid for the Excellent Class of the City in March 2009. I hope you enjoy the brief, yet interesting, overview of my class.

“Grow Up” is the first student-run interscholastic magazine in Beijing. It was initially founded in The Experimental High School ATT. Beijing Normal University by Dale ZHANG Yuye in November, 2008.

Thanks to the extensive efforts set forth by ambitious student leaders appointed in different schools and the founder himself, within two months, “Grow Up” had established branches in six prestigious high schools across the city and began inviting contributions.

As of June 1st 2009, nearly 200 authors from five different grade levels have contributed their manuscripts to the magazine.

In September 2009, as a “back to school surprise,” the inaugural issue was released simultaneously to the six participating schools. The publication notched up a great success.

As of the initial issue, six prestigious high schools in Beijing were accredited official branches of Grow Up:

• Experimental High School ATT. Beijing Normal University (Mr. Dale ZHANG Yuye)
• Beijing No. 4 High School (Ms. Zhai Yinan)
• High School Affiliated to Renmin University (Ms. Zhang Zexi)
• Second High School ATT. Beijing Normal University (Ms. Liu Chang)
• Beijing No. 8 Middle School (Mr. Gong Ze)
• High School ATT. Capital Normal University (Ms. He Mengshi)
• International School of Beijing (Mr. Cox)
